Über den Autor Kimberly Brubaker Bradley

Kimberly Brubaker Bradley und ihr Mann haben zwei erwachsene Kinder und leben mit Hund, mehreren Ponys, einer eigensinnigen Stute und etlichen Katzen auf einer 52 Hektar großen Farm in Bristol, Tennessee.Brubaker Bradley ist zweifache Newbery-Honor- Gewinnerin und Nr. 1 New-York-Times-Bestsellerautorin mehrerer gefeierter Romane für junge Leser, darunter auch 'Gras unter meinen Füßen' und der Nachfolgeband 'The War I Finally Won'. Beate Schäfer studierte Germanistik, Geschichte und Amerikanistik. Sie arbeitete lange Zeit als Verlagslektorin. Inzwischen lebt sie als Übersetzerin, freie Lektorin und Schreibpädagogin in München.
