Über den Autor Liz Nugent

Liz Nugent, geboren 1967 in Dublin, hat für irische Radio- und Fernsehsender und für das Theater geschrieben. Bereits ihr erster Roman Die Sünden meiner Väter, erschienen 2013, wurde ein großer Erfolg und Crime Novel of the Year bei den Irish Book Awards. Auch ihre folgenden Bücher Kleine Grausamkeiten (2020), von der New York Times sofort als einer der Most Recommended Thrillers of 2020 gelistet, Auf der Lauer liegen (2022) und Skin Deep (2018) wurden mit Preisen ausgezeichnet und landeten auf den irischen Bestsellerlisten. Ihr neuer Roman Seltsame Sally Diamond (2023, dt. 2024) ist Crime Novel of the Year bei den Irish Book Awards. Nugents Romane erscheinen in fünfzehn Sprachen.Kathrin Razum, geboren 1964, studierte Amerikanistik und Geschichte und ist seit 1992 hauptberuflich als Literaturübersetzerin tätig. Zu den von ihr übersetzten Autor:innen gehören Susan Sontag, Edna O'Brien, V. S. Naipaul, Rebecca Solnit und Laird Hunt. Sie lebt bei Heidelberg.
